It’s not an understatement to say that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the, if not the, busiest man in Hollywood and beyond. Besides appearing in blockbusters such as Red Notice, the Fast and Furious franchise, and Moana (how many times has your daughter made you watch that movie?), he’s also busy promoting his Project Rock collection with Under Armour, crafting his own tequila, and hosting The Titan Games, one of the highest-rated TV shows right now.
And all that hard work is paying off. According to Forbes, The Rock is the highest paid actor in Hollywood for the second year in a row — he brought home $87.5 million from June 2019 to June 2020 from his big screen roles alone. That’s down from $89.4 million the previous year, the outlet reported.
Of that $87.5 million, $23.5 million is from Red Notice, an upcoming Netflix action movie set for release in November.
In second place was The Rock’s Red Notice co-star Ryan Reynolds, who made $71.5 million in the same time span. Mark Wahlberg pocketed $58 million.
